Ipswich Town have completed the signing of defender Janoi Donacien from Accrington Stanley on loan with £750k switch to follow.
It's a name you've probably never heard of. Up until today, I have to say even I was clueless as to who this new target was.
Donacien is the latest in Paul Hurst's new line of lower league transfer signings that have somewhat become the norm this window.
Described as a pacey and physical defender, Donacien comes across as a bit of an all round athlete from what I've seen of him so far.
He was an integral part of the Accrington Stanley side which clinched an unlikely promotion into the Third Division.
His performances last season have warranted him significant Championship interest, but it seems the Blues are the ones to have secured his services, with Stanley boss John Coleman confirming it in an interview earlier today.
In my eyes, this represents another solid piece of business for Town. Donacien comes in having been involved with youth setups at Spurs and Aston Villa.
Two good seasons in League 2 means he's had plenty of game time, time will tell whether he will be ready to make the step up to Championship level.
A sense of optimism and acceptance should follow our new St Lucian recruit, expectations will be high. But if he hits the ground running like most of Paul Hursts recruits in pre-season, he'll go a long way to becoming a fan favourite.
