Former Town loanee Liam Rosenior has announced his retirement from playing.
The now 34-year-old spent most of the 2009-10 season on loan at Portman Road from Reading, where he made 31 appearances, scoring one goal.
He left Reading in the summer of 2010 to join Hull City, where he went on to have a five-year spell at the club, making 150 plus appearances for the club and helped them win promotion to the Premier League in the 2013-14 season.
Rosenior then joined Brighton on a free in the summer of 2015,making over 50 appearances during his three season at the club, helping them win promotion in the 2015-16 season, before he left the club this summer after his contract had expired.
He has now decided to end his 17-year playing career, and now takes up a role as Brighton's s U23 coach and combine that with regular appearances as a pundit for Sky Sports, working on the weekly live EFL coverage
