According to reports, Ipswich and Hull City are weighing up moves for Sheffield United goalkeeper George Long.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at League One side AFC Wimbledon and he impressed during his time at the Dons, keeping 12 clean sheets in 49 games.
Town are considering their goalkeeping options as Bartosz Bialkowski is again reported to have a bid made for him by Birmingham City and Long is on their list of potential replacements.
Long has made 123 appearances for the Blades, after coming through the youth ranks, but is down the pecking order at the club with the summer signing of Dean Henderson on loan from Man United means his first-team opportunities look limited for the 2018-19 season.
He has also had spells out on loan at Oxford United and Motherwell during his time at Bramall Lane.
The blues have previously been linked with Rangers keeper Wes Foderingham, who is expected to leave Ibrox this summer.
