It is looks like Paul Hurst has acquired his first signing as Town boss with it looking increasingly likely that Chelsea youngster Trevoh Chabolah will have penned a season long loan deal by next week.
The talented, young fullback was spotted at Playford Road last week after the club announced that he was a 'target' for new gaffer Paul Hurst.
The Under 19 England International has not made a senior appearance for Chelsea's first team but has been an ever-present in their highly successful youth teams since he signed as an Under 9.
The versatile fullback who can also operate as a central midfielder is the younger brother of Ex-Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chabolah who made a permanent switch to Watford last summer.
Trevoh will be looking to replicate the success and progression of his older brother and a loan deal to a club on the up will do him the world of good when trying to boost his chances of being around Chelsea's first team.
As I previously stated, being in the England Under 19 side means that he has featured alongside Town youngsters Flynn Downes, Andre Dozzell and Trisdan Nydam at some point or another meaning that he would have spoke to some of our lads already.
